The Fayette County Cotton Festival is located in Somerville, TN on the Historic Somerville Square at Hwy 64 & Hwy 76. The day of the Cotton Festival the entire square and Hwy 76 N from the square to N. West St. is closed to through traffic. Above is a link to a map of the Square area. PLEASE NOTE: TRAFFIC WILL ONLY FLOW IN ONE DIRECTION ON THE SQUARE. YOU MUST ENTER FROM THE EAST SIDE AT THE CHECK- IN POINT. Check in is from 6:30 - 8:30 am. Vendors are asked to remain until 6PM. The following are instructions for arrival:
From Brownsville: coming south on Hwy 76 you will turn east (left) on Old Jackson Rd. Take the first right on N. East St. and proceed to the STOP sign at Market St. Someone will be there to give you your booth papers and vendor card. You will then turn right on Market and proceed to your designated spot.
From Moscow: come North on Hwy 76 to Hwy 64. Turn East (right) on Hwy 64. Proceed one block and make a left on East St. (at the blinking light by EXXON). Proceed North on East St. to the STOP sign Turn left on Market St. You will arrive at the check point where you will receive your booth papers and vendor card. You will then be directed to your designated spot.
From Memphis: Travel East on Hwy 64 to the red light at Hwy 76 (Court House will be on your left) Continue straight through the light and proceed one block and make a left on East St. (at the blinking light by EXXON). Proceed North on East St. to the STOP sign at Market St. Turn left and you will arrive at the check point where you will receive your booth papers and vendor card. You will then be directed to your designated spot.
From Bolivar: Travel West on Hwy 64. Once in Somerville City limits turn right on East St. (marker: at the blinking light by EXXON) Proceed North on East St. to the STOP sign at Market St.. Turn left and you will arrive at the check point where you will receive your booth papers and vendor card. You will then be directed to your designated spot.
For All Vendors: Immediately after unloading, please continue out of the vendor area to Hwy 64 following the map you will be given and proceed to the vendor parking area. After parking then return and set up your booth. This helps to reduce congestion during arrival. No vehicles will be allowed in the Festival area after 8:30AM.
